Great tan in Antarctica?

If you live in a place such as Antarctica, Alaska and the Arctic you can keep dark skin due to the fact that a large percentage of their diet contains fish as they live in a coastal area. Fish contains a lot of vitamin D so you retain your tan without that many UV rays. Normally I would say "if you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen" but in this circumstance I would say if you can't take the heat go to Alaska and you'll keep your great tan.

Why do people have different skin colour

People have different skin colour mainly due to genetics and the radiation from the suns UV rays.
Generally people who live closer to the equator have darker skin than those who live nearer the poles. Skin absorbs the UV rays from the sun and can turn a certain amount of this into vitamin D. In countries near the equator people absorb way more UV rays than is the amount for vitamin D. The UV rays then start to tan the skin. Over hundreds of years peoples skin has got darker and darker.
In countries nearer the pole we don't get enough vitamin D so therefore don't have as dark skin as those who live near the equator.

Hair Colour History

http://bit.ly/2jH4NEA
Hair styling and the importance of hair in Ireland started in the Celtic times. For example when monks had a tonsure it was widely discussed, mocked and admired by the lay people.
Supposedly brunettes connected with aliens and blonde haired people supposedly had a good relationship with god. For a formal occasion hair was curled in ancient Ireland.

Discrimination and Skin Colour

Hey guys today I'll be talking about discrimination and skin colour which could be the origins of racism today.
Discrimination to do with skin colour dates back to when whites, blacks and everything inbetween first made contact with each other. Possibly the first act of skin colour discrimination was Christopher Columbus bringing back a few native American Indians and enslaved them. From then on when the white conquistadores travelled to America they brought home black men and sold them as slaves. This was socially acceptable back then and was institutionalised by schools, water fountains and cinemas being segregated.
Please watch this video for a more in depth view.

New Discovery

Hey guys, this blog, I'll be telling you all about how humans came about finding people with different skin colours.
When explorers went to India to find spices and gold they found the Native Indian people who have a darker skin tone to the Spanish and Portuguese who were the main people who travelled to the spice islands by land. When Christopher Columbus completed his voyage to the spice islands he then tried to get west by sailing East. When his boats reached what he thought was India but was really the south American islands, I think that this was the first contact that the white man had with the black man.
